A kitchen sink leak in Neutral Bay caught early
The problem
A tenant noticed the cupboard under the kitchen sink was wet most mornings, in a unit on an upper floor.
What we did
We found a flexible hose to the mixer starting to fail and a waste fitting that had worked loose. We replaced both and checked the rest of the kitchen plumbing while we were there.
The result
The leak was fixed before it reached the unit below, saving the owner a strata claim and a ceiling repair downstairs.
