Roots in a Cremorne sewer line
The problem
The toilet and laundry tub in an older Cremorne house were draining slowly, and the yard gully overflowed after rain.
What we did
We cleared a mass of roots from the line, then ran the camera to the boundary. Two joints had opened up, so we priced a reline of that length against digging it up, and the owners chose the reline.
The result
The sewer drains freely, the garden stayed as it was, and the owners have the footage from before and after.

The problem
A downpipe was badly blocked, and water was backing up and overflowing from a drain at the front of the property.
What we did
We jetted and filmed the stormwater lines. The camera showed one drain had come apart and was running into the ground, and another was full of rubble. A hose test proved the water from the front downpipe was coming out through a sandstone wall in the carport.
The result
The owners saw on screen exactly which lines had failed and where, so the repair could be priced on facts rather than guesswork.
